Rail Car Off Loading Facility
Haskell Corporation builds the first rail project of it's kind on the West Coast
Haskell Corporation acted as the general contractor for the construction of a new oil refinery railcar offloading facility. The fast-paced project involved moving 850,000 tons of soil in sensitive areas during severe weather events, treating over 4,000,000 gallons of storm water, installing 30,000 LF of pipe, pouring 6,000 CY of concrete, and installing 29,000 LF of rail. Haskell Corporation's primary subcontractors on this project were Granite Construction, Inc., and RailWorks Track Systems, Inc. The project was completed 6 weeks ahead of schedule and under budget. The new facility is capable of offloading 100 rail tanker cars simultaneously.
