Haskell is seeking highly motivated site managers, field engineers, and superintendents to join our team.
We’re seeking candidates with education and / or experience in industrial construction willing to travel to various projects in the Western United States and Alaska. Industrial construction includes anything “process” related such as refining, power generation, steam generation, chemical, mining, pipeline, cement, pulp & paper, hydrogen, geothermal, waste heat and other renewable energy related fields. Candidates with construction experience that is not specific to industrial may also be considered.
Haskell will accept candidates that are graduates from an accredited university with a Bachelor of Science degree (engineering or construction management) and / or equivalent experience working in or around industrial process related construction projects.
Haskell would prefer superintendent and project management candidates have at least five years of experience in or around the industrial estimating and project management arena.
Experience on projects with union labor and an understanding of collective bargaining agreements (C.B.A.’s) is a plus. Knowledge of and experience with relational database estimating software is also an advantage.
Employees in these positions will need to develop and have:
- Proficiency with construction software such as Primavera Scheduling, Bluebeam, AutoCad, HCSS HeavyBid, Timberline, MS Word and Excel.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to be assigned to various projects throughout the Western United States and Alaska.
- Experience working with or overseeing union mechanical trades (i.e., pipefitters, boilermakers, ironworkers).
- Successful relationships with subcontractors and vendors.
- Ability to resolve conflicts that arise in a contracting environment.
- Capability of supporting Haskell Estimating when not on a project assignment.
